Timing,
Bird seen / its activities ( like Perching, Gliding, Feeding, Nesting, Roosting etc.)

Record keeping  :
It is very useful to maintain a regular and detailed record of your observations and Checklist of birds.

Over a period of time, these records could provide clues to important aspects like the migration
patterns of some birds, change in habitat type and food availability, etc, etc.
